Review:
So this is Hammer's take on the Universal Mummy tale, and although they share many many plot points, the Hammer version is peppered up and fixes most of what was wrong with the first one. See this time there are two people rather than the Mummy being a regular Joe and a relic, this time there is a bodyguard who is with our Mummy (Lee), and his portrayal is rather creepy and menacing plus he never gets out of his bandages (well mostly). The story is about a Princess who's tomb has been disturbed so her boyfriend (I think) and his bodyguard come back for revenge on those who dug up her tomb. The idea is that you don't mess with the dead, and well I guess you shouldn't. A rather fun retelling but somehow it's still not among the best of Hammer.
