Review:
This will probably make me sound a bit like a jerk, but I actually expected more from this. I expected one of the most thrillin' thrillers with scenes of extreme torture (oh just from the little bits I've read here and there) which of course it's not. What we do have is a good plot, some creepy Nazis, a horde of diamonds and a bit mystery and intrigue. Dustin Hoffman plays a marathon runner who's brother turns up dead. From that point on he's wound up in a strange situation where folks are turning up dead, people are harassing him and so on. He has to figure out what's going on basically having no information and he has to do it quickly with a few nasty little surprises along the way. The second half was seriously exciting and fun, it's just the first half where we don't quite get what's going on either are a little trying. It's an interesting flick that I did enjoy, it just wasn't as horrifying as I had anticipated but at least the story was neat.
