Review:
I knew nothing about this film going into it, and I'm really glad I did. My husband had read the book, and if you have too they are apparently very much the same which is a good thing. It's a really interesting story about the effects of money on different people. Paxton along with his simple brother (Thornton) and his brother's friend stumble across a plane buried in the snow and a bag with over 4 million dollars in it. Of course plans start being formed, especially when Paxton's wife (Fonda) gets involved and soon the story is bending this way and that and well it's really something to watch unfold. Although this one breaks the two hour mark, it's a fascinating two hours and I really didn't want to look away for even a minute, it's doom filled and you can just feel everything falling apart...it's a must see! One of the best thrillers with a super cast (especially Thornton), this is a must see film that little ado has been made about but it deserves so much more!
