Review:
This is one pretty aggravating thriller...but it annoys in a good way! See Michael Caine plays the ultimate tenant from hell (okay not literally but he's awful bad news just the same). Melanie Griffith and Matthew Modine play a young couple who decide to take on this large Victorian house with two rental units in order to make some money. They spend all of their money and hard work on fixing this place up and before they know it, Caine has moved in...and let's just say he's not exactly leaving. It turns into a pretty scary situation as nobody can get into Caine's apartment and we are never quite sure what he's up to next. I think anyone who's ever rented out a building could relate to this one (okay not exactly but in a way), and it should be a good warning to watch out who you deal with. Pretty intense and cool thriller that definitely makes it's point, and then some.
