Review:
I wasn't sure what to expect with this one seeing as how the original film is one of the best. I didn't think it needed a remake but they did such a great job Well actually they did a pretty good job with this remake including some awesome special effects and tons of action that I get the point. The acting and actors are likeable and they do a good job, and even the zombies are mostly convincing! I'd definitely suggest seeing the original first (as it is the best) but this does have a lot to offer too surprisingly! It of course takes place in a shopping mall while they are trying to avoid zombies. It's got some guts, some scares and really it's almost as good as the original (a few points shaved off for sensationalizing the story a little). This is also full of action, guts, gore, blood and even suspense. They did change the story a little bit, but for the most part it's faithful and never does it feel like it's trying to cheat you. Still worthy of a watch and far from disappointing even though I was highly skeptical at first.
