Review:
So this isn't a "horror" film so much as a weirdo psychological thriller. I've certainly heard much hype about this one through the years and heck I'm a pretty big Cronenberg fan so what went wrong? Well it was confusing, dry, slow, dull and I didn't like any of the characters. Alright fine, that may not have been the point but then what was? Well we have two identical twin brothers who are definitely strange, one is slightly less obnoxious than the other for the record. Anyhow they seem to share everything, but when the nicer brother falls for an annoying actress girl, will other brother share her or understand her? Yeah I didn't really care at any given point what was going on or why. The movie did seem a bit creepy in the way that "Boxing Helena" is creepy but "Boxing Helena" made so much more sense (yeah I'm serious). Maybe it was the wrong time to watch this or maybe I missed something really spectacular when I blinked, but I was seriously disappointed and annoyed by this one.
