Review:
Well it's a rather large budget production and a classic take on the story but somehow it's not all that good. For what it is it's okay, it seems to go a lot deeper than earlier Frankenstein adaptations and in fact they tend to go into the romantic stuff. The try for the person under the monster kind of thing aspect and I'm sure for some of the dramatic folks this is a really interesting film, but I crave more action and more horror than a romantic story which just happens to have a monster behind it. Still everyone does a great job and you really do seem to wind up sympathizing with the monster, it's just a bit disappointing (especially with such a talented cast).
