Review:
Somehow this film wasn't anything like I'd expected, I mean especially since it is rather Hollywood and has big names involved and all. It's about a group of boys who are obsessed with watching a group of sisters. The girls seem to have everything going for them until one of them commits suicide and everything changes. Their already strict parents go insane and force them to never leave the house and it's sort of like watching the sisters become more isolated and withdrawn from the viewpoint of the stalking neighborhood boys. The entire thing is shrouded in what if's and no definite answers are ever achieved, in fact the ending is extremely ponderous and almost unsatisfying I'd say, but I'm sure it depends who you ask. Still the film was artistically quite lovely and it was an interesting premise for a film that is rather easy to watch despite the frustrations sometimes involved. Also a perk is that it's set in the '70s and who doesn't love the '70s? Not me! Considering all factors this is an interesting piece to see but don't be surprised if you are left with a bit of a confused look on your face at the end.
