Review:
This is a fun little Amicus anthology although definitely not the best one so far. We are at a carnival and some guests have stayed behind to see something special. They are introduced to a statue of a female holding scissors which they must stare into to see their fate. They are warned that their fate may change should they so wish it to. The first story is about a man who is greedy and gets his Uncle's estate. He looks desperately for gold coins his Uncle always had but soon learns that there is a cat possessed by a witch who makes things so. Yeah it's a weird story to start with but a fun one! Then we meet the bitchy model who purposely ruins her roommate's dress and takes her date for the evening soon to ruin her career. There's a huge shock when she learns about Hollywood's inside information (it's probably the best story with a great secret I won't ruin). The next one is about a haunted evil piano that doesn't like it's master to date. Then the fourth piece is about a man obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe who meets the ultimate collector...who even has Poe himself! It's a mixed bag but it's continually entertaining and the fact they crammed so many unusually stories and tried to tie them together makes this a fun way to spend an evening.
