Review:
Well firstly I need to point out that this is a Disney film so right off the bat you should know there isn't any blood or anything like that in this story. It's not really creepy either, but I do think that parts may be a little frightening for small children. The story is about a family with two daughters that rent a gigantic isolated old house with a weird older lady (Davis) as the landlord. It turns out that weird older lady had a daughter the same age as one of the children that just moved in and they even look alike. The eldest daughter is haunted by images of her daughter in a blindfold, and the youngest daughter hears whispering in the woods begging for help. Really it's a scooby doo flimsy mystery but they really did put the effort in for children to be able to understand the clues and the mystery and stuff. I'm sure it would have been a lot better as a child, but it still passed as an adult, it's just not really all that horrific is all I suppose.
