Review:
This was actually rather gripping surprisingly and although it sounds like a weird one, it's actually very serious and interesting. It's about a young actress who hits a white German shepherd with her car, then rushes it to the animal hospital. When she can't find it's owners she takes it in, but soon she learns it's an trained attack dog...that goes after black people! The really odd part is that it doesn't get put down, it's discussed but once the dog attacked a couple of people you'd think it would be an easy kill. Still the dog is taken to an animal refuge where a nice black man trains the dog to trust him and tries to make a difference. It's rather intense watching this man extend his hand to this ravenous looking dog, it's almost like you are always waiting for something terrible to happen. Definitely an interesting film and quite the statement on racism. This is one to try to run in to!
