Review:
After having really enjoyed watching "Westworld" my Husband mentioned that Yul was also the hero in this post-apocalyptic adventure from the '70s so of course we decided to watch it. In this tale we meet an extremely buff and shirtless Yul standing in the city square staring into space. We then meet with a colony of human survivors (the world is extremely dangerous at this point and even leaving the house could mean instant death) who recruit Yul as their warrior and protector. Their commune has their own vegetables and the food is rationed, but the people are in such a state of panic that things eventually become rather frightening. It doesn't help matters that the crew next door has been threatening their food supply and their sanity! There are also rumors of a safer area where water isn't as rare, so they have a choice to make. It's pretty intense with lots of great fighting, great characters and it's very compelling. Definitely an enjoyable watch that fits right in with other great '70s sci-fi films.
