Review:
Now this was a tremendously fun, creative and fulfilling horror picture. We meet up with some scientists in the Antarctic. They witness what looks like some insane folks chasing and shooting a dog. During the night though the dog transforms and attacks other dogs. The scientists soon learn that they are dealing with a shape-shifting alien who of course causes them great difficulty as they can't tell who or what it is at any given time. Such a great story and the possibilities are endless here, it's just a shame this wasn't made into some sort of franchise. Since I've now seen the original, "The Thing From Another World" I can easily state that this is way better, and quite different and watching one you won't have any idea what's happening with the other. This is one of those rare horror films that everyone likes...or nearly everyone, and it's a classic that simply must be seen!
