Review:
Although I believe it's supposed to be a remake of the '70s "The Toolbox Murders" this one goes quite differently. This time we meet a young couple who move into an apartment building and they keep hearing noises. Soon they make friends in the building but they start to go missing so of course some investigation is in order. This one seemed to entirely miss the mark on the cool vintage killings and atmosphere but replaced the boring ending of the original with something really weird and supernatural and totally different. Both are lacking in different ways, but this one still comes out on the bottom unfortunately because I wanted better deaths...it is supposed to be a slasher after all!
