Review:
Definitely an awesome strange comedy from Mr. Burton, but he pretty much always delivers! It's about a sad and awkward young man (Depp) who just happens to have scissors for hands. A family takes him in and he falls in love with their beautiful daughter (Ryder) and becomes a shrub trimmer. We watch as he has to adjust to normal society as he is used to his lonely life with his inventor. Eventually he becomes a hairdresser and he makes the town fall in love with him despite his "handicap". It's very much a twisted fairy tale that nearly anyone should find something in it to love plus it teaches a good lesson.
