Review:
Certainly a unique entry into the Hammer Frankenstein series although this definitely works as a stand-alone movie, it's technically the 4th in the series I believe. We meet the terribly scarred but lovely Christina who is the butt of the local's jokes because of her twisted body. We also meet a charming young man who works for Baron Frankenstein who is trying to woo Christina. Of course terrible things happen to them both, and his brain ends up in her body which makes for some confused memory and some fantastic revenge. It's interesting because having Christina (or the body of) as the killer looking beautiful sort of puts a sneaky seductive spin on the idea. It also doesn't really disappoint and after the lousy third entry this had a lot of making up to do...and it did! Definitely one to check out if you even kind of like the idea behind it.
