Review:
Disregard the fact that this was created in 1932, put aside any misgivings you may have and watch this darned film. I'll admit that I tend to be biassed against some films that are really super old but this one is captivating and intriguing. I'm actually amazed they got away with it, well actually they didn't since MGM wouldn't release this for many many years after it's creation. The story is about some circus folk, there is a midget who happens to have money and a trapeze artist who appears normal (aside from the fact that she's a bitch) who takes a liking to the midget because of the money. The other erm abnormals (freaks) are on to her and torment and disfigure her so she's one of them. They used folks with real abnormalities to make the film and it actually offers a creepy feeling and look to everything never mind the fact that the story is pretty darned awesome. Another perk is that this just cracks an hour in length, so it gets right to the point and then it's gone before you know it so it never lags. Highly recommended that everyone watch this fan of horror or not, it's a very important film and if you are anything like me this should impress you!
