Review:
I had to know, I mean I've always been fascinated with Public Safety videos and well highway safety videos definitely apply. This is about the history of the safety film, we even get to see bits from some early films (I wish we could see the whole thing) and no wonder so many young minds were warped. We also got to meet one of the first accident photographers who made safety videos. Eventually it became a team of accident chasers videotaping stuff to put into the videos which is where things get disgusting. You need a strong stomach to watch parts of this and odds are you will never touch a drink before climbing behind the wheel again (which is a good thing). It talks about the evolution of the safety film and what it became but it really seems to stop in the late '70s which seems like a good place to stop. I learned stuff, I felt queasy it was all in good fun!
