Review:
This is one of my all time favorite made for tv movies. It's bizarre, effective, disturbing and somehow realistic...in some weird way. Enter Ronald, a dorky teenager who is picked on by most people. One little girl especially picks on him and in an argument he accidentally ends up killing her. He panics and buries the body. Shortly after he tells his Mother who feels he would look guilty were he to be found, so they build a false wall over a bathroom and he is forced to live in there. His loneliness leads him to create a fantasy land of delusion which involves several increasingly creepy paintings he draws on the wall. After his Mother dies and a new family moves in (he's still hidden) things get even stranger and more sinister. Although this is largely psychological there are elements of all different kinds of horror and worst of all it demonstrates how being isolated can make you go bonkers! This is one hell of a fascinating film, I'm so glad my co-worker Dean recommended this gem because I'd have never heard of this otherwise. If you can find it...watch it!
