Review:
I like plastic surgery horror stories, so many things are possible. This one is slightly different than you may be thinking of, you see this Doctor isn't all bad (can you say Jekyll & Hyde?) he actually remakes disfigured girls into beauties. They then act in the circus he owns for him, only girls seem to be turning up dead. Could it be the doing of the good Doctor? Consider the year and it's actually quite gruesome and surprisingly bawdy. It holds up really very well, and it's consistently entertaining throughout, the acting is also pretty darned good (thanks Donald Pleasence and friends!). Definitely surprisingly nasty considering this was filmed in 1960 and definitely one to catch!
