Review:
Okay yay best Hammer film yet and I imagine best Hammer film ever, this almost surpasses the original for cripes sake! Peter Cushing is amazing as the rude and sadistic Dr. Frankenstein, Christopher Lee worked as the hideous monster although we don't see a heck of a lot of him. The story is as good as it's ever been all nicely explained and without humor making it a dark masterpiece. We meet a rich man who wants to learn more so he hires a tutor who teaches him and together they learn how to reanimate the dead. Of course in order to build a great monster you need parts, and the way he gets them is fantastic! There is also a bit of a side story about his cousin who is living in the mansion with them and is oblivious to the terrible experiments being conducted. This story seriously has everything and is everything that a fan of monster movies could ever hope to see. Simply a must in every darned way, a definitive monster classic!
