Review:
Now this is quite the campy little gem, Dr. Phibes is quite pissy and takes revenge on a bunch of other doctors that he blames for the death of his wife during an operation...or is it even him? The deaths are lamely done but in some fun ways using mainly animals and the whole darned thing is so garish and strange that it's hard to stay away from. It really is more of a comedy than a horror movie though so some fans of guts and gore will obviously not want to touch this one. It's at least bizarre enough and Vincent makes it worthwhile but I've not really seen anything like it, it's almost like Russ Meyer designed the garish sets or something! There is even a sequel to this one that I haven't watched yet, but this was entertaining and ridiculous enough that I'd give it a try too!
