Review:
So this is pretty much a strange dark comedy about Bette Davis' character being an evil and cruel mother, although she's never as evil as one would like her to be. Still some hilarious things happen involving one Son who likes to steal ladies undergarments from the line and wears them, another son shot out her eye and has been sucked in by guilt ever since, and the third one has brought home a new fiance to introduce to Mother. It's a very amusing film, it's just that well...Bette Davis' character reminds me an awful lot of my Grandma (may she rest in peace), only my Grandma wasn't quite so conniving, definitely they both shared tendencies to say whatever awful thing they were thinking. It's not amazing or anything, but certainly quite a few laughs were add and those who like watching Bette Davis be menacing (with an eye patch) will be amused. Definitely one of the weirdest offerings.
