Review:
This was wayyy better than I thought, although be forewarned it basically has no budget and the effects are laughable! In fact the Brain that causes the problems looks like a Ghoulie mixed with a Madball (remember those?). The story is that some tv self help guy has a magic Brain thing (that is kept just off the main entry to his psych ward) that controls minds and attacks. We meet a guy who goes to see this shrink unknowingly but of course he stumbles upon the secret of "The Brain". Not only does nobody believe him but the Brain has been hard at work killing people, and the scientist brainwashes everyone into thinking that our hero is the guilty party! On the run with only his girlfriend believing him they have to find a way to defeat the evil brain and it's grasp on everyone's consciousness. It's actually super easy to follow and was clearly made by a fan of Cronenburg and Englund...just remember the lack of budget may make it less satisfying for some. Still I thought it was a creative little fun film and an interesting concept, I'd say give it a whirl if you can find it (still not out on DVD unfortunately).
