Review:
So this time around Dan's girlfriend dies in war like action, plus weirdo Herb has been hard at work with re-animator fluid which will animate parts of anything. If you so the math you'll see that this is a Bride of Frankenstein but with plenty of garish red blood and plenty of humour. The "bride" bit actually doesn't factor in for some time so we have plenty of time to watch re-animated folks tear up the screen in expectedly ultraviolent style. It's perhaps a little less exciting than the original but it certainly holds the bar up quite high still. It's unfortunate this doesn't seem to have been mastered very well onto tv (I mean they did take the vhs and record it to dvd looks like) but that's not a slight on the film itself. I'm glad that even in sequel form this series keeps up some amazing momentum and this should entertain fans of the first. I wouldn't recommend coming into this without seeing the first one because well parts of it won't make total sense though.
