Review:
So this was made by the fellow who made "Story Of Ricky" making this a very strange tale from Hong Kong. To summarize, it's like "The Hidden"...only with cats...and entirely bizarre. I guess it's about a trio who came from outer space to kill some sort of monster made of goo and silly string. The General (a black cat) is part of this trio and boy are there some fun scenes involving it. We get to watch an epic duel with a dog which is something you simply must see to believe. This cat can fly, it can operate machinery, it can regenerate...it can do pretty much anything you'd want a magical cat to do. This isn't nearly as bloody as Ricky, but it is gross and gooey in places. The story is a bit confusing and there are many questions left unexplained...but that doesn't really surprise me all that much. Anyhow, back to that cat...it can morph into different voices and people and such which is why it's so The Hidden like. Overall it's cheesy, confusing, captivating and well weird. Definitely something to see and be amused by, just not something to go into with the intent of watching a "good" film.
