Review:
This is a delightful little film that is classy, elegant and beautifully shot. It's also got charming actors that you can't help but like. It's about a lovely Serbian fashion artist who falls in love with a Man although she is strongly resisting him. She won't kiss him nor will she make love to him although she's his wife. She also causes a strange reaction with cats, and well birds don't really seem to last long around her either. See she's convinced that she is affected by a curse haunting her from her hometown. People when they fall in love and kiss turn into panthers basically. She tries very hard to conquer this but finds herself drawn to the panther in the park and she continues to resist her patient husband. Soon while husband is at work he finds out that his female co-worker is in love with him and at first he pushes her away but before long he gives in. The two plot to put the Serbian girl in a mental institution, but before that can happen she manages a transformation or two. You don't really see much of anything, but it's all suggestive and shadowed which in this case is just as effective. This likely won't satisfy a horror fan looking for a scare, but it's really a captivating story and it has a bit of a sense of humor which makes it all the more likeable. Definitely a classic that still holds up today!
