Review:
In an attempt to disprove cannibalism some researchers find out that it's not as easy to disprove after all. Actually this is another one of those video nasties and with good reason this time. We have a graphic slow murder of a turtle (for real), not to mention a disturbing scene where a female is hung through her breasts on hooks, and that isn't even close to all the gore we have here. I've deducted a half point because of the turtle thing, really there isn't a reason they couldn't have used a stunt turtle, but the effects throughout look really quite real. The story is a little slow, and I can't understand motivation for some of the characters (mostly dumbasses really) but I had an easy time watching this waiting for the next bloodbath. If you can tolerate the things I've just mentioned than I actually would recommend you see it. One of the better video nasties for sure and my favorite of the cannibal movies, Lenzi struck gold with this disgusting little gem!
