The Twilight Zone: TV Series: Season 2

Episode 42: "The Eye Of The Beholder"
5 / 5
Actors include: Maxine Stuart, William D. Gordon, Jennifer Howard, George Keymas

This was definitely one of the coolest and most intense episodes and even creepiest that I've ever seen. We meet a woman in a special shadowy hospital who's face is entirely covered in bandages. The doctors talk about the experiments they've conducted on her face and how she's ineligible for surgery. They also talk about how she'll be shipped off to a special part of town where "people like her" belong. Apparently her face is such a wreck that it makes people yell even. Then of course you get an extremely intense climax and a big surprise. Really very cool and highly recommended for anyone!

Episode 43: Nick Of Time
3.5 / 5
Actors include: William Shatner, Patricia Breslin, Guy Wilkerson

This is a tale of a young couple sitting down to have dinner when they notice a mystic seer (a machine you pop a penny in and it tells you the future) on the table. Being highly supersticious Mr. Shatner can't resist, but when it predicts a raise in his job, and it comes true he begins to get a little obsessed with the machine. Is the machine really a mystic or has his superstition gotten the better of him? It's not the most exciting tale I've seen but certainly a fair bit of fun and it does raise an interesting point!

Episode 47: The Night Of The Meek
3 / 5
Actors include: Art Carney, John Fiedler, Val Avery

Ah a Christmas story and nothing too spooky about it either. Perhaps I'm scrooge-like or perhaps this episode just doesn't seem fit for the twilight zone. We see a poor man who loves playing Santa but hates seeing all the poor children get nothing. He ends up with a magical bag that gives people whatever they want, but will the Police believe he's not a thief? Yeah it's alright but definitely not one to rush out and watch.

Episode 51: The Invaders
4.5 / 5
Actors include: Agnes Moorehead, Douglas Heyes

This is a cute little tale of an old woman who hears strange noises. Soon we learn that a tiny flying saucer has landed in her house with tiny little intruders. She ends up in quite the battle with the feistly little devils before getting her revenge. It's a fun little piece to watch because of the miniatures, plus it really reminded me of the attack seen in the much later film "Dolls".

Episode 54: The Odyssey Of Flight 33
4.5 / 5
Actors include: John Anderson, Paul Comi, Sandy Kenyon

This is an imaginative little tale that most certainly has inspired many others. A jet airliner on route from London to New York encounters some difficulty when they end up going through a rift in time to the past. Things get even stranger when they try to go back the way they came and end up closer to the present day but not quite close enough...it's really a fun little story and it has dinosaurs...who doesn't love dinosaurs?

Episode 55: "Mr. Dingle, The Strong"
4.5 / 5
Actors include: Burgess Meredith, Don Rickles, James Westerfield

This is a really cute story about a nerdly weiner of a guy who drinks in a bar and is beaten up nearly ever time he offers an opinion. Two hilarious looking aliens give him the power of incredible strength which he doesn't really know what to do with. People spot him twisting rocks in half and are in awe so he has a conference to demonstrate his abilities but of course by that time the aliens had taken his power, there is one cute little twist at the end too!
