This certainly doesn't go into any depth about the gore style of films that are available. We basically see little bits about a hand ful of movies but they left out some of the biggies and they don't elaborate on anything that a horror fan would probably want to know about. Really this is a documentary for those who have never seen a gore film. It touches on "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Cannibal Ferox" (no Cannibal Holocaust?), "Story Of Ricky", "Battle Royale" and a few others. I sat down with a pen and paper hoping for some goodies I'd forgotten but instead I wrote nothing down, I've actually seen every last movie they featured and could name many they missed. Still at least they got most of the directors involved and didn't forget about Italian contributions (they focused on Fulci). Not the most exciting way to spend an hour but it did remind me to go back and rewatch a few that were listed.
Availabilty: Never on Dvd but I think it's aired on TV
