Review:
Well my expectations were low for this 'un, but it was actually a really entertaining piece and a real example of what can be done with a low budget film. It's about a TV set that automatically changes to the zombie channel, even when unplugged! The zombie channel however actually seeps zombies out of the set (although entirely confusing how they'd fit out of such a tiny TV) and once the zombies are out, they are lean mean killing machines! The effects were actually really well done, kudos to the make-up guy! The zombies looked decent and the premise was completely explained and the story easy to follow. Two kids are living in their parent's house while they are away in Saudi Arabia, of course the TV set just happens to be in their attic. The film manages to be bloody, the boy for example is a huge "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" fan and when given the chance to wield a chainsaw seems overjoyed! There are cute little touches and homages to various films in here, and any horror fan should at least give this a try.

Availability:  On DVD but OOP
