Review:
Sadly quite a drop off from other Hammer productions I've seen, in fact this is one of the least interesting. If you are looking for a hard-on this may be your ticket though, the ample bosoms and lesbian undertones run rampant. It's about the last surviving vampire in a family who goes around being taken into homes with booby young daughters. She somehow makes all the ladies (and occasionally men) fall for her before she sinks her teeth in. Even though this was beautifully shot, and has Peter Cushing in it, I was surprised how meh it actually was. They have successfully tackled the vampire concept on several other occasions but this is one of the weakest tellings yet. Still there are some fun decapitations, and lots of biting and it's easy to follow and the girls will be easy on the eyes to most. Kind of a let down but far from unbearable.
