Review:
Alright well this is the fifth entry into Hammer's Frankenstein series although after the first two the stories are pretty much unrelated, this being no different. This time Peter Cushing is super duper evil, he's even a rapist! What makes no sense is that the rape is completely out of any context and the girl he attacks doesn't treat him any differently as a result, perhaps that's because they just threw the scene in last minute to add more sex. Anyhow now that we have the controversy out of the way we are left with a pretty awesome Frankenstein movie. The Evil Baron Frankenstein blackmails another Doctor and his girlfriend who are doing drugs on the side. Anyhow together they scheme and get another Doctor out of the asylum because he has perfect the surgeries that Baron Frankenstein wishes to attempt. Of course after the surgery things don't go as expected and violence ensues (yay). It's actually quite an impressive film and likely the third best in the series despite the fact that it's the fifth one, even if the Baron is a cold calculated devious man here (hooray).
