Review:
Many folks seem to balk at this sequel but I think it's one of the best in the series. It gives Jason an entirely new playing field where he is free to have superhuman strength and murder on a boat and in the streets of NY, how fun is that? Plenty of great deaths and the characters seem slightly more developed (in some cases) than usual for the series. It's a big slash fest and well Jason is in his prime, all he needed was a little vacation. I think that this is simply a little more fun and creative than usual and for these reasons alone I'd say check it out!
