Review:
I loved "The Ring", so of course I was entirely open to the idea of another American remade Asian film featuring a long haired evil ghost thing. Only thing was this one was infinitely less interesting and logical. We meet Karen (Gellar) who is a nurse that moves to Tokyo. Of course one of her clients has a house that is vengeful against anyone who enters it (although the evil picks and choses when is a good time to get back at you for some reason). Of course something terrible happened in the house and the ghosts are restless and you'll find out the details if you care to watch. This also involves a meowing boy, and a few deaths and some mystery solving. I did like the sort of strange feeling I got from the American being lost in all this mess in Tokyo but the actual haunting part left something to be desired.
