Review:
To be perfectly honest this bored me as a kid, but now watching it as an adult I get it. There is good character development, and the situations are actually rather spooky and it's more story oriented than a straight up slasher fest (which is what I would have been looking for at the time). It doesn't jump right in to the horror bit but rather it builds up into some great chase scenes but really it's all about the atmosphere. I still don't think it's the best movie ever or anything as it is a little slow and could have been a bit flashier but it is certainly worth putting some time into watching. Oh yeah, Micheal Myers is a mental patient who escapes and goes on to torment those around him. It's creepy in a classy adult way, but definitely it's a must see. The intensity here is hard to match and truly it's an entertaining picture.
