This is one seriously predictable thriller, but who cares, it's thrilling none-the less! De Mornay is excellent at playing the bitter babysitter out for revenge! She sneakily moves into their lives, and even starts killing without suspicion, but she can't fool everyone for too long! The greenhouse scene is one you are likely to never forget, and well it has many classic evil manipulative methods in here that any psycho would be proud of. Really the acting sells it, the concept is one that should breed fear into the hearts of young mothers, and even for those of us without kids, watching someone go crazy is always charming. Solomon as the fence fixing slow guy really comes through in the end for them and is definitely a great character but really all of the pieces make up one heck of a good movie. I think the fact that I saw this when it first came out, and again now and I think I enjoyed it equally both times speaks volumes for how effective this really is.
