Review:
Firstly I should note that I didn't see the version with the voice-over, I saw the longer version. It begins with a while of showing demented illustrations and describing the ways were back in the days of witchcraft. Then after a while they start acting out parts of it but all the while offering up interesting facts. It really doesn't read much like a movie, it's more like an experience, and what a creepy one it is at that. This movie has the best devil, the most convincing witches and it's all shot in a very creepy and insane way. It's almost impossible to believe they got away with what they've shown here but if it's all somewhat based in fact it's crazy. I actually learned a lot watching this and it does seem to explain the basis of nearly ever devil related film I've seen since. It's shocking, we get to see witches kiss the devil's behind, there is nudity and well anything you would expect to not see is probably here. Shockingly captivating and a must see for anyone interested in learning about witchcraft or for if you just want some demented imagery.
