Many Italians must have seen "Last House On The Left" and felt seriously inspired...to remake the movie in several variations. Whilst so far "Night Train Murders" is the most effective similar movie, this one has something to offer too (it's just not as interesting). This time they threw Nunsploitation in here casting Florinda Bolkan ("Flavia The Heretic") as a Nun teacher looking after a group of teen girls in a remote house (at the end of the beach). The girls are rehearsing A Midsummer Night's Dream when suddenly intruders break in and start annoying the girls. Okay so by annoying I mean raping, but well there area really only two rapes in this and one of them is the funniest rape I've ever seen. Yeah you read that right, I'm evil and so on. Still in that particular scene one of the rapists is inexplicably wearing Rocky Horror Picture style make-up, the other is borderline retarded and the girl being raped is seriously overacting. It's also done in hilarious slow motion snap shots leaving plenty of room for laughter. Anyhow it's clearly derivative but there are some funny moments and the second rape is pretty creepy (erm using a giant wooden stake). It's an entertaining piece if nothing else, just don't expect anything amazing and you should have a good time.
