Review:
This is kind of a weird sci-fi thriller based of course upon a Stephen King book. The story is about a mad scientist who starts to perform experiments on a slow gardener to try to improve his intelligence. He uses high-tech things like virtual reality and well drugs to try to change the gardener. Surprisingly the gardener does become really intelligent but there are some definite side effects to be dealt with. It's easy enough to watch and not a terrible adaptation, it just feels like more could have been done here. Avoid the dreadful sequel at the very least, so your intelligence doesn't drop!
