Review:
This is definitely a strange yet interesting Hammer outing. Most of the movie is all talk, witty dialog but none the less it's a bit slow unless you are in the mood to pay some attention. It's about a Doctor who participated in an experiment to be young forever! The only problem is that he has to have surgery every few years to have a gland transplanted from a living victim of course. It's worked for quite some time as this man is 104 years old and he looks like he's in his late '30s. This also presents problems as he is a sculptor in love with a lady who reappears in his life, but will she find out his terrible secret? It's actually rather bloodless and very dry up until the last little bit which has a bit of a surprise in store for you! Still definitely this one requires patience, but the characters are interesting enough that this is definitely worthwhile (particularly Prof Weiss).
