Review:
A really unique twist on the vampire thing that is really more of a character study rather than a horror movie, but it's not without some really cool and intense scenes. We meet Martin, he looks very young but of course we learn he's actually a very old vampire just trying to survive. We learn about his struggles to find blood to survive and about the loneliness this sort of lifestyle demands. Aside from learning about Martin we are treated to one heck of a great home invasion scene that was actually surprisingly intense and very neat. Overall I wouldn't say it's amazing or anything, but for it's individuality and the thought behind it plus the one really cool scene it definitely deserves some dues. Interestingly this is one of the earlier Romero films and I'd heard almost nothing about it until I started hardcore researching horror films. It's a strange duck, but one you'll likely want to experience.
