Review:
What a bleak end of the world sci-fi flick that surprisingly seems to be little known. I only knew about this one because my Dad saw it at the time and has been talking about it ever since. Fortunately for me, I listened because this is one violent and exciting flick that is genuinely well made and disturbing. The story is about a virus that appears and destroys all forms of grasses like wheat and rice. Of course that throws everything off balance and quickly the world's food supply runs out. Of course from there things turn to chaos. We follow around a group of rogue survivors that are trying to find the safe house that is the brother's farm of one of the people. On the way they encounter violent rogues, bikers, and all sorts of people setting up traps to try and get any sort of food or belongings. This one surprisingly even has rape, a huge gun fight and all sorts of surprises for fans of violence (I was impressed). A very dark story that could really happen, definitely one to be on the look out for if ever you get the chance.
