Review:
I didn't know a heck of a lot going into this one, only that I think this was on the video nasty list and therefore I needed to see it. Kronz brought up an interesting point when we were watching this and that was that perhaps some of the video nasties were picked simply because they weren't deserving of being watched, and in this case I'd almost definitely say that is true. Although there are some bloody moments (like oh say a body being tossed into a boiler) it's mostly very low budget, poorly shot and dull. I was definitely amused to see Daphne Zuniga in this (you know, Melrose Place's moody character Jo) but she gets killed (in a neat way) very early in the film and then we are left with a slew of unlikeable characters that they never really bothered to fill in personalities for. They do go for a bit of a twist ending and well I guess points for that but for the most part I'd recommend that you check out many other slashers before you get around to this one because it's hardly worth your time.
