Review:
Probably the best thing to have ever come near "Full Moon" releases! I definitely enjoyed this more when I was younger, but it's still an inventive and well made little horror picture. This saga (and there are many chapters) is about a man named Andre Toulon who was the premiere puppet maker in the land. When he happened upon an old Egyptian formula that brings to life puppets. He tries it out, Nazis try to find his secret so he offs himself in order to prevent the knowledge from getting into the wrong hands. Then a few years later some psychics decide to investigate the matter and while staying at his house they encounter....the puppet people! It's actually pretty darned neato and I liked that they gave them all cute names and characteristics all their own, throughout the series there are a few additions and subtractions but in this first film our puppets are Pinhead, Leech Woman (my fav), the Tunneler, Blade and Jester! Very cool film for folks who like this sort of thing, and for kids that can handle some horror!
