Review:
Well this is officially the point where I considered Wes Craven dead to me as a director and probably the official time I considered the horror genre to be deader than a doorknob. In retrospect it's not as bad as all of that (especially when the horror just kept getting worse after this point) but I felt swindled. It's a silly slasher that has absolutely no scares and it feels as though it's making fun of the slasher genre in general. It's about a masked killer (the mask is beyond stupid by the way) who runs around slashing the friends of Sidney (a girl who's mother he killed earlier). The effects were decent enough, the story was duller than dull and the characters all deserved to be killed...unfortunately they aren't all dead at the end of the movie.
