Review:
This may not be scary, and it may not be intentionally funny but it sure as hell is surprising (providing you don't know the ending). It looks like a typical slasher film, and in many ways it is as we watch campers bumped off left and right, but this definitely is in a class all by itself. It bothers to try to surprise and boy does it, not to mention that the over the top acting makes this a campy classic fun for parties and what ales ya. Anyhow the film begins with Angela moving in with her Aunt (who is definitely one of the best characters in ANY film ever) after her family dies in a boating accident. Angela gets sent to a camp and is forced to try to overcome shyness in the midst of a bunch of camp killings. Although this was far from having a big budget and it's clearly very '80s this is really a must see. It's not gory, but there are some fun murders and it's really very easy to watch. Highly recommended if you haven't gone here yet, just promise me you won't try to look up the end....
