Review:
I truly enjoyed this brutally violent masterpiece, but I imagine most would. The story is about a math nerd (Hoffman) and his wife George who flee from the city to get away from violence. They move into the countryside, but soon learn the locals definitely want trouble and they are coming after his family to find it. It's kind of like home alone...but extreme and well adult and awesome. A large group of thugs appear at their house with weapons and using only his wit Hoffman snaps and has to defend his family. It's creative, surprising, extremely well acted and believable and gripping when it gets going. Sure it's a little slow at first, but you can just tell something awful is brooding underneath. Really a fantastic film that I'd urge anyone to watch (anyone that like violence I mean).
