Review:
Firstly, what a disappointment! Visually yes, it's quite stunning, I saw the redux version with the new graphics (that I think took away from the film) so I wasn't all that happy with the computer stuff. Still the actual sets and camera shots and stuff are pretty neat and you can in places clearly see the influence for "Star Wars". I just thought this was tremendously boring, and they did nothing with an interesting premise. It's set in the future, where everyone is pretty much living in this controlled area underground and hairless (inexplicably). In society you cannot have love and every time you have a problem they drug you (I liked the Jesus figure and the concept). Two people fall in love, and when one impregnates the other (against the rules) they are put into jail and they start to plot an escape. It sounds way more exciting than it actually is I assure you. Clearly a tremendous effort and most will want to see this, it's unfortunately not very rewarding is the biggest problem.
