Review:
Basically we get to hang out with one cool hit man (Whitaker) who follows the "way of the Samurai". He lives in near isolation with only homing pigeons to keep him company. His best friends are a French speaking man who sells ice cream and a child he talks about books with. Our hit man is in trouble with the Mob and as a result we get to watch the resolve of this. It was rather intense and artistic...perhaps even a little over the top with that at times. Still a rather fascinating action film that is seriously character driven...but at least they gave us an interesting character!
